Fire and Brimstone Update

The Fire and Brimstone update would be an update focused on volcanos, fire, and lava. This update could see changes to the Overworld, and Nether.

First off Volcanos would merely be decorational, and a place to harvest new and interesting blocks. No eruptions on these volcanos. These can come in High mountains with and without craters, or massive holes in the ground. Underneath these volcanos would be a vertical shaft of lava, surrounded by magma blocks, obsidian, and other Volcanic blocks. Pockets of toxic gases would generate in enclosed crevices. This would appear as a translucent green block, unminable with a pickaxe.

Under Land and Oceans, lava flows could spawn, as a form of underground rivers. Oceans can receive Smoke funnels. These can be like drip stone stalagmites, growing taller with each block. if placed next to each other they can connect at the base to form a combined smoke funnel.

Examples of blocks that may come in this update are: Smoke Funnels, Brimstone, Pumice Stone, Block of Sulfur, Melting Stone+ Varients, Cooling Stone+ Varients, and Gas Block. Volcanism is a subject of interest to many people.

Adding them to Minecraft would feed an interest of Volcanos and potentially teach a little about those fiery mountains.
