This new dimension would be accessible in underwater caves or at the bottom of ocean ravines. A circular portal called the moonpool would allow players to enter. The world is a more primal, prehistoric-like area, with large mobs and the ability to breathe underwater. This dimension would develop biomes on a vertical layer, starting with the deep river, a small cave area which spawns skeletal groupers. You can hide from them in the reeds that hang from the ceiling and the floor. The next biome is the inverse seafloor, which sits upside-down and has shipwrecks with locked chests. This biome borders a brine wall, which indicates the crushing depths. This is an effect that blocks off players from going further, but can be remedied with a conduit, which creates a barrier safe to descend. The other barrier is the creature of the ocean depths, or a reworked version of it. It is a pseudo- warden mob that disorients the player and attempts to drag them outside of the barrier and drown them. Last is the very bottom, a horizontal cave which forms topaz prisms, stalactites that drip liquid that can be drank to return to spawn,an underwater redstone alternative, and the pipeline, formed out of copper, guarded by amphibious urchin-like guardian mobs, and houses the keys to the locked shipwreck chests
