As Mojang have spoken out about not adding a crocodile for many reason, a major one being that they dont want to add any hostile mobs that are also real animals, I think it would be cool to instead have a crocodile-like mob. Which would have the main features of a crocodile, but with a minecraft flare by making it be made out of sculk, like the warden. I think it would be really cool if it could hide in the sculk waiting for someone to walk over where it is hiding, similar to how real crocodiles are stealthy by hiding in water and staying still. They should still be slightly visible in some way, whether being able to see a slight hump in the sculk or a shadow where they’re hiding, it could also for balancing purposes only spawn in the ancient city. On sculk it should be the speed of a non-sprint run but on blocks which aren't part of the sculk type it should be the speed of an adult zombie. For health it should have 40 health points (20 hearts) and it should also have knockback resistance similar to that of the ravager, for attacks it should have a bite which deals 5 damage (2.5 hearts) on easy, 8 (4 hearts) on normal and 12 (6 hearts) on hard, when dealing damage to an entity it should also take away xp equivalent to 2 xp orbs on easy, 3 on normal and 4 on hard, healing 1 hp (0.5 hearts) for each xp orb that it eats, but after killed should drop all experience it has eaten. (Also considering it is a sculk type mob it could also only react to sound, just like the warden)
