At the time of posting this, I was taking a walk last night through a trail, and with all the trees kinda covering it overhead, I thought it would be cool to create in my realm. However, I quickly realized that I couldn’t make it without adding a bunch of lights, which would take away the immersion, because mobs would spawn. The real trail only has a few lampposts. So I started thinking about what could be done about this situation, and I came the the conclusion that there should be some pylons in the game that prevents hostile mobs from spawning within a certain area. As for how it would function, I came up with two possibilities. 1: it’s an upgradable pylon, you use nether stars, or some other rare item to increase it’s range. Or 2: you use numerous pylons and the space within becomes a safe zone.
The addition of this would allow for one to create a more immersive experience without worrying about getting godslapped by hoards of zombies or skeletons, or anything else.
