Allay holding light source should produce light

When a allay holds a item that when placed produces light it should produce light. This if added to minecraft could make allays just a tiny bit more useful.

    It won't work. Dynamic lighting is a performance issue within the base game, not to mention being especially problematic for low-end PC users. Also, there are mods for this concept, for any visible light source.

    This is just a great idea.  I get that it could cause performance issues, but for those PCs that could handle it, it would be an absolutely incredible addition to the game.  Perhaps this could be a feature that could be turned on/off in the video settings so it could be turned off if causing performance issues.

    Just imagine how cool it would be running through a dripstone cave with a lantern in one hand and a sword in the other!

    If you are on java, you could just use shaders, if you are on windows 10 edition (sorry MPCE, Nintendo switch, PlayStation and Xbox) you can use ray tracing if you have an rtx capable GPU (If you don't, its overated) which I believe has dynamic lighting, which is what you are looking for.
