Overworld Boss: The Emerald Drake

The Overworld is lacking a main boss for players to challenge themselves against. I believe a Drake-like creature, allied with the Illagers, would be fitting for this role. Both the Nether and the End have flying Bosses, with each Boss themed after their respective counterparts. Given Illagers are the main antagonists of the Overworld, a creature controlled by or created by them would align with this theming pattern. The Boss could have ground-based attacks, a tail whip attack and have Illagers mounted on its back to shoot at the player. Take out the Illagers and the Drake will have to resort to shooting emerald shards at the player. Drops would include emeralds and other valuable materials. The Drake may be found at a special shrine structure built and protected by the Illagers. This would add an additional challenge to the Overworld that many players, including myself, have been eagerly waiting for.
