help diamond spawn rates please

Recently I got back into minecraft by my partner. we wanted to advance so i went down to mine. i found iron and coal just as quick as i remembered but i had to look up where diamonds spawned as i couldn't find them at 5 where they used to be. when i looked it up, it said most clusters were moved down far. so when i went down there i was delighted to find a diamond vein within about ten minutes. what wasn't the greatest was to learn it was only two, and that for the next few hours i would be endlessly strip mining until i got fed up and left. this portion of the game is unplayable at this point. it also isn't helped that deepslate takes longer to mine than stone. diamond rates have to be increased or the feeling that this game now has of needing to constantly grind to get even a single diamond. please fix this soon.
