Hello!
We all know that land-based plants can be placed in flower pots, but what about the water-based plants within Minecraft? In real-life, there's a plant growing technique called water propagation, where plants are able to grow entirely in water! :)
Cauldrons could be used as a new water-plant-pot-thing, or glass water bottles could become place-able in the world! They would act entirely like flower pots (so the mangrove shoot wouldn't grow, like how saplings remain saplings in the flower pot).
Plants such as the mangrove shoot, big dripleaves and small dripleaves could be placed within the bottle/cauldron. Maybe even sugarcane could be used!
Considering that the recipe for glass bottles looks very similar to the recipe for flower pots (3 glass blocks/bricks in a 'v' shape), the glass bottle being place-able would make a lot of sense! I do think that plants being place-able in the cauldron would come up with less technical issues though, especially regarding the fact that if glass bottles became place-able, potions would theroretically have to be place-able as well.
Thank you!
