Better boat controls for pocket addition

My boat is really hard to control since I am in pocket addition, I have to press right, then left, the right, and so on, just to go straight. I go really slowly and it's hard for me to get places. I mostly have to stick to the land. I think there should be a button for going straight on pocket edition. It would help a lot!
