Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Basalt stalactites, stalagmites and stalagnates in the Nether

If in the Nether basalt imitates solidified lava, then why not make a Nether variation of drip mechanics with lava?

    Yes that's a great idea and by default it would drip lava and u need water above to make it drip water so the opposite of the dripstone
    They'd probably just call it pointed basalt and that's a good name
