As of 1.19.1 Pre-Release 3 it is still impossible in Java Edition to make 2 currently alive entities of any sort (including players) ride one another, or to make any 2 entities who are riding each other currently dismount. This currently exists in the Bedrock Edition of Minecraft and is incredibly useful for replicating the capabilities of plugins using only data packs.
This would be of huge benefit to the Java edition community as you cannot currently edit certain player data such as motion, the only way to effectively create smooth motion for a player is to have them ride an entity which has it's motion data edited. This is also useful for many other mapmaking applications and general command use situations.
I'd really appreciate if this feedback could be reviewed as I feel this would be a great step in the right direction especially since other than the general purposes of this command, it creates workarounds to many unique situations which commonly occur with commands in the Java Edition such as the aforementioned problem of player motion data being unable to be edited.
