A Table of Chemical Elements

I have been developing a table of chemical elements that is based on the periodic table. Since materials (substances that are gathered from the natural environment to make things) in Minecraft behave differently than the same materials in real life, it would make sense if the Minecraft world came from a unique set of chemical elements that differs from the real Periodic Table. The table I developed could allow for carbon to be a metal or semi-metal, which could explain why diamond (a form of carbon) can be forged into weapons. This Periodic Table of the Minecraft Elements would also serve as the basis for all the blocks, tools, and items added to Minecraft in the future. The lore would be that everything in Minecraft is made of one or more chemical elements. Materials could be invented by using the arrangement of the periodic table to determine what items can be made and what properties those items have.
