The Darkness effect given to players when they trigger a shrieker, and are near a warden, really needs to have a HUD, and it also really needs to have an option to disable it. Drinking a Night Vision potion should clearly nullify the deep dark effect.
Or better yet, add an alchemy recipe that uses the crystals found in the deep dark to make Darkness vision.
I don't think I am alone in feeling like the effect is great for an immersive experience but forcing that immersion on players is extremely terrible game design for Minecraft.
Absolutely everything else in the game the players have some kind of autonomy over EXCEPT this.
If you are adding these "problems" to the game just to later have content to make that "solves" these problems... Mojang is treading down a path that will completely ruin the game.
Please add something to nullify the effects of this crap. The game is starting to feel LESS AND LESS like a sandbox game.
