  Ancient Cities are scary enough with all the sculk and the Warden. We don’t need something else to come and kill us.

  There can't be mobs there because they would be constantly setting off warden spawns. It's imbalanced. They also don't fit with the biome, and it would be an unnecessary added problem to deal with.
