The Minecraft sky looks a tad dull, with static stars that disappear when it becomes day. Instead of static light stars, we could add twinkling stars and on new moons there could be more stars with nebula and other sorts of bright debris, and on full moons it would be a bit less.
Shooting stars could be an indication that passive mobs would have a lower breeding cooldown, crops could grow faster, or villagers replenish their trades a lot quicker during the next day, and that could be signified with a "Wishful" effect.
