Nether Wart Blocks feel kind of out of place for the trees. It also doesn't make sense that nether wart blocks can't be crafted back into nether wart. I think this calls for a more transparent leaf-type block taking their place in the crimson and warped trees. This would also let players compact nether wart into their respective blocks and then back if they wanted to.
These leaves couldn’t be burnt and could also drop crimson and warped fungi for replanting the trees. I also have a suggestion that might make them noteworthy: Allow them to be ‘lavalogged,’ similar to how overworld leaves can be waterlogged. I'm not sure how useful this is, but it would be cool.
As for how to get warped nether wart for building? Perhaps growing regular warts in the warped biomes or even the End could turn them into warped versions. Whether they can be used for brewing, or if they have any special mechanics, I don’t know. If they can’t, make sure that nether wart inside of fortresses and bastions stays unaffected if they spawn in the warped forests.
Maybe nether warts can be crafted together with netherrack to yield Nylium, so that the player doesn’t have to painfully bonemeal the nylium and mine it all up.
