Wielding magic

I think that the game could use some magic for the player to WEILD like perhaps crafting a staff from various materials the more rare the materials the more spells it can do like some kind of attack with fire or lightning or perhaps some kind of barrier or what if you could heal your friends and become a supportive mage However magic could come with a price It consumes xp from you to make the magic work And The staffs have durability to watch out for Some spells have long cool downs to make them hard to spam I think that magic spells would make the your role in your Minecraft world a little more varied like how players choose to build amazing structures invent complex machines or become a brace and strong adventurer I think that having magic and being able to combine craft and share it with your friends would be cool
