Achivements don't get earned

When I play minecraft for windows  and go to survival mode without disabling achivements I don't get them I do things properly and I don't earn anything I do have a microsoft account to earn them but it just doesn't work

    if you start a world in creative mode and switch to survival achievements dont work

    Are you playing in Java used to playing Bedrock? Java doesn’t have as many advancements as Bedrock does achievements.
