    • lol just make a feture so servers can DISABLE this system in config, and that's all. And banned people can join to servers without this system.

Why is this even enabled in non-realms servers? The entire point of minecraft is that it's a chill game to play alone or with friends. Now that you can't even do that, might as well stop playing this.

If you have to Do Something to call It An update Then Think Of Any good ideas And don't Ruin Our gameplay by Ruining Private Servers Experience, I hope It Will Be Deleted because This Is Not An Update, This Is a Dramatic Crash. You Can Have it On Big Servers like Hypixel. BUT LEAVE SMALL PRIVATE SERVERS ALONE. if Mojang Chcecks feedback after This update I Hope They Will notice Our Disappointment At them.

This was horribly made, easily abusable and besides just never being needed in the first place was never wanted.

It's absolutely uneatable that Mojang is forcing this Chat Reporting "Future" on all servers even dow these servers are completely privately owned, payed and managed, with no involvement of Mojang, which means they have no right to ignore the communities request of an opt out option. It's also insane how easily the context of reports can be altered, by deleting messages sent by the reported or by even adding new noes to alter context. And for Mojang to just ignore these major exploits, that will definitely be abused, is uneatable, further more, from a security standpoint it's insane that Mojang choose to simply store your private key in plain text, this is madness! And if this system would have been implemented with global chat mutes, it would even be understandable, but banning someone from playing a game, cuz they said "bad" things in chat is nonsensical and obscene (that's if you even got fairly banned). So in summary, Mojang added an unsafe, exploitable and highly uncalled fore system in to Minecraft, with seemingly no consideration on how this affects the whole community. Because of that i will no longer recommend Minecraft to my friend, since it's now an unsafe space in which you could be undeservingly punished and there's nothing you can do about it, since even if you apile the bann, Mojang can't do anything if the context got altered. And for the people how already have Minecraft... DON'T update to 1.19.1 and if you must, then play with a mod like No Chat Reporting.

This system gives toxic players the ability to manipulate players that don't know any better into getting themselves banned. Players are very very smart and if they want to be nasty they can coax players into whatever they want and them report them. Causeing innocent players to get banned. And if a high profile player like a YouTube creater joins a public server they then can be targeted for reporting meaning you have now condemned public players to private servers forever.

And now out of fear I will never touch a public server again due to this update because I know I could be a target. I generally don't go on public servers anyway due to being quiet shy but now I have incentive to stay away from them entirely. I host my own server that my baby sister plays on and I would be very heart broken if she could not join me. My son should always be allowed to join me no matter what. And if either of them talk publicly they are now at risk of Lossing their accounts.

This is my take. This system needs a lot of attention before it can be considered viable. And really I'm of the opinion that it should only exist on realms where you are allowed to have complete control over your own servers.

Keep your hands out of my server.

please, if anyone from the mojang team reads this. NOT A SINGLE SOUL wants this, this was never an issue and won't be EVER. ignoring the feedback won't help either. just trash it, it is not a good idea and no matter how well you may try to orchestrate it and polish it it will always remain a genuinely garbage move.

don't consider not adding it, DO NOT, IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PLAYERS IN ANY CAPACITY ADD THIS.

    i beg you.

Servers already moderate their own chat when needed. Servers already have the resources necessary to keep negative speech under control whether it be a moderation team for large servers or a simple /ban for small servers. There will always be 3rd party clients that will somehow bypass whatever "protections" you people try to implement. We all know you only implemented chat reporting just for your company image and not because you actually care about the people that grew up side by side with Minecraft.

simple feedback, remove it, it will cause a lot more harm than good to your playerbase and could if its as bad as roblox, kill the game for everyone

Honestly I believe the reporting  feature is utterly ridiculous. Minecraft servers have their own reporting system and ban players from their server for profanity. players should not get banned from minecraft as a whole

It's not a great feature I understand why this would be something you would add but it's something you should add. The last time I checked in the Minecraft Trailer "no one can tell you what you can or cannot do. With no rules to follow. This adventure, it's up to you". I think before most people were sane enough to say anything. It's a block game we don't need chat monitoring and chat reporting. People will use it as a way to ban people that are too good or like to gloat. It's a way to bring fans away from Minecraft. So many players are either going to stop playing or will just say with 1.19 and never move forward till it is removed.

I will not be updating to 1.19.1 or any version of Minecraft that has this feature. It is a shame that you all are not listening to the feedback the community has given.

I just want to say that I have been a loyal Minecraft played for ten years now, since 1.2.5, and I am disappointed with Mojang/Microsoft for going this direction with the game. I remember when I went on servers back in 2013-2014, and yes, there was language that this filter would probably not like, but servers moderate themselves well, and there was never anything egregiously wrong. I think that this heavy-handed approach is the wrong way to create a safe environment. Should a game that is optional for children to play, or for their parents to let them play, be overly moderated due to the concerns of that few, or the concerns of the many? I also do want to mention my dismay at the about face your company enacted; after saying that there would be no changes to Java with account migration, you have gone back on your word and betrayed an old and faithful community. Your attempts to stick your heads in the sand are, I think, even more telling. You know that this is wrong, and that it will only hurt your most dedicated fans. I join the chorus of voices asking for this policy to be ended, and for Minecraft to be what it once was, a place where, "No one can tell you what you can or can not do".

I should be able to play on my own server with my friends and be free to say what I like without fear of being banned forever...
