Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Crane type elevator

A device used to move mobs, players, minecarts, and boats up and down.
It uses the power of redstone to craft with redstone, thread, sticks or bamboo, scaffolding blocks, and wood blocks.
This device can be varied in length with a redstone block.
For example, if you want to move up to 10 blocks, you need to place the Redstone block 10 blocks below.
Even if you install the redstone block, it will not start, so buttons, levers, and the redstone circuit are essential.

    An iron chain and sticky (slime/honey) blocks must be involved. Also, there must be some kind of block unwinding / winding the chain, for example, a reel, or a block containing a reel.
