So, one day, I was on Google, and I googled to see if there was a real-life equivalent to dripstone in Minecraft (even though I already knew there was). And then I started reading a Wikipedia page that pulled up about Stalactites and Stalagmites. I then learned that those things, in real life can also be formed by lava, and it could happen with more rocks than just limestone. However, it required the rock to have a mineral in it similar to minerals in basalt. I then realized, since basalt, dripstone, and lava are all things in Minecraft, pointed basalt could be a thing in Minecraft too!
Pointed basalt would spawn exclusively in the Nether, more specifically, in the Basalt Deltas. Since that biome is kind of boring, why not add something to spice it up? Also, you should add some more things besides this to truly spice up the Deltas. It needs some sort of mechanic that would make it better.
