New Travel Method

A new travel method. It looks similar to a nether portal, but both sides are connected with redstone (or a new type of placeable powder with a similar texture, while the portal blocks themselves are a block form of the powder). This would allow for instant travel between two parts of a Minecraft world. You could then balance this out by making the block difficult to obtain, as well as having to extend the signal after a certain distance, and this signal extender could also be difficult to obtain. This idea would NOT make the nether obsolete, as there are plenty of reasons to go there. In fact, players would likely use this in the nether. As the developers can control the difficulty level in obtaining this block, other travel methods would not lose their relevance.
