While I do agree that if Mojang is going to work on "Parity" that some things should move from Bedrock to Java, (As a Bedrock player) I believe that it shouldn't come at the cost of Bedrock edition getting practically nothing from Java -even features that were added to Java years ago- because at that point its not "Parity" its just Mojang saying "Oh Bedrock has this little exclusive that the Java community wants, so we'll give it to them cause they're our favorite *ignores the multitude of features that the Bedrock community wants*"

And no I don't hate Java edition. I'm just getting frustrated at the fact that Legacy Console edition and Java were so similar and then I started playing Bedrock and finding that its just a shell of of what it could be

    Exclusive java features in bedrock

Yes, I agree I feel like the two versions are slowly separating due to a bunch of exclusive features. and some sad news is java and bedrock edition will probably never be able to merge together because java is being coded on, well java script as bedrock is coded on c++ meaning one version will have to be deleted likely java will be deleted. To do this without community outrage you will have to move all of java's features and data over to the bedrock edition. The longer we wait the harder it gets because of all the new servers, players, items, and commands, but before the Big Migration, we need to make baby steps some of these are to let bedrock players have banners on shields and banner marking on a map. also, there should be a settings toggle where you can enable and disable building over the nether roof. they should also give a free offhand slot to the bedrock players they should make it so on MCPE there is a little icon next to your offhand slot that when clicked will do the desired action such as if you're where holding a block clicking this icon will allow you to place the block. I also think you should even out the spawn rates and give them RTX support.

there is also another huge problem with the great migration. all of the mods will have to be coded in c++ which java mods aren't so for now work on the small stuff plz mojang.

Here's a list to show what they mean

Java exclusive features: free mods/addons/texture packs, free skins, RTX support, spectral arrows, crawling,

building on the nether roof, more than one item frame in one block, banners on shields, marking banners for evokers riding. I could go on and on, bigger simulation distance,

Bedrock exclusive features: Potions in cauldrons, diable water in cauldrons, salmon of all shapes/sizes, hittable snowballs, and a so called "Better wither"

    big render distance,

the fact that they handel the parity between the two is by removing bedrock-exclusive features is absurd. It would make more sense to me to add the exclusive features from each version to the other.
