It would just be easier to add java redstone.

It's easier, a lot more consistent and no one really likes bedrock redstone

You know this is really smart. This way we won't have to relearn redstone.

I've had the same thought for quite some time! Because imagine all the Bedrock players who have seen a really cool redstone creation and decided to build it for themselves, only for it to malfunction completely despite following the design perfectly! After hours of questioning their work, they finally realize the problem:
It was built in Java edition.

I feel like the simplest solution is to add a game setting to choose between Bedrock redstone mechanics and Java redstone mechanics (i.e. Quasi connectivity). That way, Bedrock players can finally create all of the redstone machines and devices that Java players have used for the longest time, while experts in Bedrock redstone can keep using the system they're most familiar with and assure that all their past creations will work just fine.

I think Java players should also have the option to switch between redstone mechanics if they wanted to. The option shouldn't be considered a cheat, as it wouldn't be fair to deny survival players of any platform the redstone system they desire.
