Java Family Sharing

Using the family share feature, Minecraft Bedrock Edition can be shared by several users with only one purchase. However, this is not possible with Java Edition, which requires a purchase for each user. It would be nice to be able to purchase one account and share it between family members without additional purchases.

    Is this correct? I have to buy Minecraft Java 6 times so my whole family can play? What a money grab!! I already bought Bedrock three time so I can have it on PC, iPhone and Android, haven't they received enough money from me?

    Ya, my bro wants to play wynncraft with me because only one username per word and all that. He is not willing to buy java and I don't want to buy it for him

    It's 2024 going onto 2025 and Java family sharing is still not possible. Can you we make it a reality and up vote this one please?

    Disgusting that it's impossible to share. I want to play Minecraft with my daughter. Created and account and an e-mail with family app and guess what, I CANT SHARE THE GAME and have to BUY AGAIN ! That's very unfair that I have to buy a second time to play with her...

    Microsoft is intentionally punishing users who run their own Minecraft server with this purchasing policy, because those are all Java based. Shame on Microsoft, and shame on the Minecraft product management team.

    Why isn't there a big blinking disclaimer about this limitation in the MS store?

    We've already purchased this game on Amazon, Apple, Nintendo, Playstation, Windows, and again on Windows to get the Java/Bedrock bundle. Now we have to buy it again to use Java edition on a child account, or even worse, subscribe to Play Pass and basically buy it again every single month.
