tele-repeater

the tele-repeater is a repeater that can transport its recivied signal to another tele-repeater. the tele-repeater can have different channels so redstone contraptions that utilize the tele-repeater can remain seperate. It is crafted with a repeater, an enderpearl, and a lightning rod (as an antenna).

The drawbacks of using one is if too much strain is put on a tele-repeater, which is dependant on both how much it is used and how far it has to broadcast, the enderperal will crack and you will have to replace it. (this goes along with another added mechanic, where cracked enderpearls can be repaired through a long proccess.)

  Good point.

  Thanks for making me aware of this, it would be really helpful, however the problem that would be addressed with this is long distance redstone. While the skull sensor can go a certain distance, the problem with it and most other redstone methods is that they still need to be somewhat connected in a path, and as soon as that path leaves a certain radius of the player, it stops working. This would bypass it by having no middleman in the process, with the drawback to this method being it's lack of durability

  I could see this working like and early version of the telegraph if enough people start learning Morse code
