Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Anti-elytra in ancient cities

In ancient city chests, there should be an 'anti-elytra'(name not final) which allows you to fly up. It could let you escape the void, and get up steep cliffs. it would add extra incentive for players to go to ancient cities. you could also use it to fly up the pillars on the main end island.
