    Yeah, I think this is true. Certainly there could be a lot of support for a certain thing, but there could well be even more opposition. Perhaps there should be multiples buttons that could each be a summation of a response, for example the buttons could be: "doesn't fit the theme of Minecraft", "not properly thought out", "love it", "just dislike it", "needs a little bit of tweaking", "meh", and "unneeded in Minecraft currently". This would allow people to get a far better grasp of what the community thinks, and just with a glance of the eye, as opposed to having to read through the comments, furthermore, many people likely won't be bothered to write comments.

    This allows for posts and comments with negative votes.  Here is an example for posts:



    There are -1 votes, meaning a downvote.

    Currently, the only way for a post to lose votes by normal means is if people give up their upvote on a post. The vote count cannot go below 0 normally.

    If people dislike the suggestion, they can simply ignore voting on it currently.
