Mojang please ,for the love of your game, don't add a chat report feature.

Your game is family friendly yes, I get that, but the servers on Java edition have always been self governed by the players and server moderators. Not only would it be pointless it would drain resources from improving your beautiful, wonderful game. The idea is massively unpopular from within the community and none of us know how you would do it accurately so that innocent people don't get banned. If you do add it either add it to Realms only and have it be a toggleable feature. And for servers, if you choose to add it, make it so server owners can disable the feature because, although it is your game, those servers don't belong to Mojang, but to the players who love your game. Instead you could add a censorship feature that individual accounts can choose to turn on or not, maybe in the social interactions menu. I mean those are just my thoughts on the matter, a player who loves your game, I doubt you will read this but, y'know, I just wanted to share my thoughts on the topic

     Make a settings to turn it off and a server warning saying, "no chat report"

    I have been playing Minecraft for 8+ years now, this has been a game my friends and I have always enjoyed. We have our own private server for our own inside jokes, and this is just one stepping stone to take all of that away. All of the joy and happiness of playing Hypixel for the first time, for going on your first multiplayer server that isn't Realms. All because what? Microsoft decided that Minecraft isn't just kid-friendly, it's kid-only. I love this game, I grew up with this game. If this continues, I'll no longer be able to support this company nor this game anymore. Please, don't ruin a good game like this.

    The average java player is 24. And profanity is used alot. Instead of this just add a safe chat system for kids.

    Pepole are gonna use alt accounts and spam words. Also imagine 10 microsoft chat readers reading the 2b2t logs

    I don't even play Java and this still sounds like a terrible idea. Mojang please just listen not even Bedrock players want this for Java. I wish Mojang wasn't controlled by microsoft. This is just sad

    Roblox already has a similar feature, and so far, it hasn't done well, but to use such a system for Minecraft, to the point where some platforms even ban you from single-player, definitely crosses lines.

    I mostly hate the idea of chat reporting because of how many people will get false banned. Its not even a question of if people will, but how many. The chat moderators are regular people, and they would have to deal with thousands of reports per day. No matter how good they are, if you have to sit at your desk and look through hundreds of reports every hour(a lot of which would probably be spam or little children), do you think that you won't make a single mistake? It would literally take a team of thousands of people just to moderate the chat, and even if the team only made a single mistake per day, that would be 365 mistakes in a year. That's 10,950 dollars by the people who owned the accounts, and that's not even including taxes. And yet, this is probably one of the best scenarios that can happen with chat reporting being a thing. Chances are that they'll make dozens of mistakes every day, leading to dozens of people losing out on their hard earned money. I see where mojang is coming from, but I really don't know how they could have implimented chat reporting worse.

    They should really just HELP admins with tools instead of making them rely on mods/plugins made by the comunity to be able to moderate their own servers. Each server has their own rules, it just doesn't make sense to have a global report system

    It is error prone and it'll cause the entire Minecraft Community to be gaslighted. Microsoft doesn't care about anyone ever since they got bigger. All they care about is money with this stuff.

    As a player since 2011, this is what I remember fearing when rumors about a bedrock merge were circulating. I remember being proud of Minecraft when I saw other games end up with similar features and seeing them abused. Please, for your community, don't do this. It will cause more harm then good. What do people do when rules are added that restrict freedom? They cause more trouble then would have originally happened as a form of protest and they weaponize the rule against others. We already have bot account swarms on anarchy servers. What stops the same thing from happening to the chat report system? No spam filter can reasonably deal with that. Oh wait, yes one can! Its called letting the server owners handle things. A big automated system and team of people will never be able to handle the load as well as a decentralized per server system. Plus, they will never respect what the community views as bad or good. What if something is found really offensive on a server do to culture, but that isn't deemed offensive elsewhere.

    Can you fix the render distance on Nintendo switch can you fix the render distance on widows minecraft I put it on 80 render distance on widows and look like on 12 it dose go far can you the bug on the shield when you crouch it doesn't go up and the block the attack please fix the bug
