This new recording device block will allow you to record the music playing in the background at specific times and locations in your world. It would then be possible to capture the beautiful background music found playing in the Nether, or the oceans, or the Deep-dark, or ANYWHERE else in the world. After recording music onto the disc, you can then play that music wherever you’d like!
I think a good crafting recipe for this new jukebox would involve the sculk items in some way. If you think about it, sculk is a sound sensitive entity that gives off signals after listening to sound waves. The Recorder would listen to sound waves (specifically music) and then put that music on a disc.
I’d like to get more use out of the echo shards especially for hardcore players, maybe they could work! To craft this Recorder surround a regular old jukebox in 8 echo shards. After crafting the Recorder, you can then begin to start recording the background music from wherever you’d like over blank Minecraft discs. These blank music discs should be rare loot found in practically any structure and won’t play in a jukebox before being recorded over. Pop the disc in the new recorder and after 10 or so seconds, your new music disc will pop right out ready to by played!
