Melt metal tools and armor to get the material back

My idea is that you can melt tools and armor to get the material back (only works on metal armor/tools, not wood or stone).

Example: Melt iron chestplate to get 25% back (2 iron ingots)

You would have to craft a new block to melt the armor and/or tools, and it would be powered by lava.
