Wall sconce

Wall blocks are notorious for being unable to attach fences and lights to them, and although they look great as a tower wall or a stable wall, they walls always seem to look somewhat bare. There should be a new items called 'Wall Sconce' which can be crafted by placing a lantern on top of an iron/copper/gold ingot. The wall sconce would have the texture of the metal used and would emit a light level of 15. To place a wall sconce you would simply use it on a wall block and the sconce would appear attached to the wall block. This should be done by creating a new NBT tag for wall blocks called 'Wall Sconce: True/False' and all wall varients should be able to attach wall sconces to them.
