Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Sugar cane should be able to grow on mud

Mud is literally just dirt that is filled with water. Sugar cane has to grow next to water, and apparently it can be planted and grow even if the block it is next to is a waterlogged block. Because of this, I think it would make sense if sugar cane could be planted on and grow on mud blocks, even if it is not next to a waterlogged block or water source. This does not seem to be too game-breaking, and I think it would offer cool new possibilities for creative builders and survivalists trying to make creative bases and farms.
