Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

How about a brand new weapon with a new attack system?

When I was playing survival with my friend, I saw a bamboo and thought, why not a new weapon with a new attack system only for that specific weapon? Maybe some sort of a giant hammer like the hammer of gravity in Minecraft dungeons?

    I think it's worth waiting for the combat update first, and then adding new weapons.

    For a hammer, maybe something like the anvil hammer. For bamboo, maybe a spear that will have long reach like a trident?

    I imagine a spear as a downgraded trident, or it has a different spec tree
