Stalker cactus

The Stalking cactus would be a new entity spawning in deserts. This Cactus would follow players slowly moving towards players when they aren't looking. This would attempt to move right onto the player, where they will be poked by its thorns. While mildly annoying this would pose no significant threat, as it would be easily dealt with. They would be a rare spawn, and utilize surprise attacks to keep the player on their toes.

    Would they suffer knockback? Or fire/falling/drowning damage? How much health do they have?

    What if they can only move by sliding in the z or x axes, and jumping when reaching an edge. It can only change directions when centered on a block. This way, it is harder to tell it is following you (otherwise, it's pretty obvious that sideways cactus over there is actually a stalker)
