Horizontal Vines

Horizontal vines in minecraft may be hard to imagine but it could work like this. The vine block could have multiple block states. Within its 1 book it could move from a few height points, three or four of them. As standard it attaches to the middle when placed on a block. It will angle downward, and each vine will connect to the last, cycling through each block state. At the end of each cycle it will allow for the vine to transition down one block. It could look something like this: Over four, down one, over four, down one. If you over extend by one, it will reverse the cycle instead transitioning upward. This would look like: Over four, down one, over 5 up 1, over four up 1. People use a similar style with droopy bridges so the same could apply to the vine block. It would also be cool to attach hanging vines on the horizontal vine, which could create a very beautiful look.
