Make skulk veins breakable by water

The main issue for me with the skulk veins is you can't break them by placing down water like with vines. If you happen to be in a multiplayer world with a few of your friends and y'all decide to attempt to clean up an ancient city (for some reason), you'd want to be able to remove the skulk very efficiently. Only being able to break it with your hands (and explosions of course) is pretty tedious.
