Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Dyed Lanterns

We already have the regular lantern and the soul lantern. But why not the possibility of dyed lanterns?

We have dyed glass, we have dyed candles. But it would be awesome to see different colors of lanterns hanging from the ceiling as an added magical effect to a build, like for example: an enchanting room.

Just like the candles, you could add a dye to a lantern to give it a different color of glass. I don't know if it's possible to also have the light coming from it colored for added effect, but that is also a thing you can do with it.

Anyhow, it would really add to the ambiance, so I'd be thrilled if this would be possible.

    I completely agree, this would be a beautiful advancement to the game. Especially with the new cherry trees, pink lanterns would go well with the wood
