Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Iron Rusts like Copper Oxidizing

While Copper Oxidizes when exposed to the air, Iron Blocks (and maybe golems) should rust when exposed to water/rain, being preventable by applying beeswax. Golems could also be less manueverable the more rusted they are. This means that iron should also have cut versions and slabs/stairs like the copper. This would also be cool because it adds more color palet to the orange color.

This would make the world make more sense and make bees even more valuable, though I guess Iron isnt a super common building block.

    Fully rusted iron golems should be ignored by mobs. Maybe you can find them naturally in zombie villages?

    Rusted iron golems (which would then break and disappear/despawn) would be interesting! Would add a sort of cap to how many iron golems can wander around a lit village, since well-lit and/or walled villages tend to get a bit crowded with them.
