Backpacks would make it so you couldn't equip a chestpiece, (working similar to elytra in that regard) and have, say, 12 extra slots. You'd be able to carry more, but with less protection and not be able to fly (They'd offer no protection whatsoever). A player could only look in the bag if it's being worn, by them or another player (kind of like with a Lama or Donkey), or if it's placed on the ground like a container. It could be upgraded on a crafting bench with an Ender Chest, but it would only let a player access the first three slots (added to the left of the backpack slots) of their personal Ender Void, it would also visually change the buckle to look like an eye. They'd be made of 6 leather, 2 rabbits hide and a chest, and be dyeable. You'd still be able to ride a boat, chest boat, minecart, horse, mule and donkey. It would add another customizable accessory. It would drop as an item and would despawn like any other item. It's not able to go in a chest (of any type), barrel, dropper, dispenser, hopper (of any type) another backpack or the Ender Chest. It can be worn as equipment by any mob that can do so, but can't be opened when it is. Hoppers pull from it when it's placed. The player can only ever have one backpack in the inventory, weather or not it's in the chest slot.
