Winding river sub biome

The winding river would be as the name suggests a winding river, flowing in a serpentine pattern, perhaps around boulders and rocks. A river near me flows from a short waterfall, turns right, and flows back left in an s shape around a chunk of rock. Seeing something similar in minecraft would be beautiful.

That would be cool, but a waterfall means the water has to start higher. There are suggestions for this already (really good ones), and you might want to hold off on this idea until the prerequisites are approved.
