Any *fair* confrontation with the Warden will necessarily end in player death, there's no avoiding it. It can 2-hit any player within 16m in 2 seconds. There's no way to block it. There's no way to mitigate damage. You can't outrun it because the warden can sonic boom while running...
Any *unfair* confrontation will still end with the Warden dying, as always.
These buffs to the sonic boom are unnecessary and harm the use of the Warden in mini-games. These changes haven't made the Warden any less killable. If you were within range before the only way to survive would be if the fight was already "unfair".
Please reconsider
- Allowing players to block the sonic boom with a shield.
- Allowing protection armour to mitigate *some* damage.
- Reducing the sonic boom cooldown.
- Making it so the Warden has to stop moving to use the Sonic Boom.
None of these make the Warden less killable, it just makes it so the Warden takes slightly longer to kill you, which makes it a bit more fun.
