There use to be a bug in Bedrock edition where enchanted books could use their stored enchantments directly without being applied to an item. This included Using a silk touch book to pick up glass blocks or using a fire aspect book to light campfires.
Rather that functionality should be reverted and we could see more enchanted books be usable this way.
Silk Touch can just be used to pickup anything Silk Touch would normally work on Except for things that you cant mine with your fist anyways, so no mining ores with a silk touch book and then smelting the block.
Fire aspect & Flame can be used to light fires on the ground, light creepers, and light campfires & candles. Just as a Flint & Steel would work.
Frost walker could be used to freeze water at your feet on use.
Damage amplifying books (Smite, Sharpness, Bane of arthropods, Power) can deal the extra damage by just punching a mob with the book (it would do punch damage plus the effect)
Knockback and Punch 2 would both simply knock a mob much farther back when hit by the book.
That the basic gist of it, dont want to get to crazy with a suggestion but I'm sure you get what i mean.
What about one more for fun, Throwing an enchanted book of Loyalty on the ground will make the book slide back towards you ever so slightly.
