Lingering water bottles should convert multple dirt blocks into mud ones

Applying one single water bottle into one single dirt block and then get one single mud block is quite logic; the same quantity for the splash water bottle but the action is not dependent on how the bottle interacts directly with the dirt block, right clicking on it as it is with the normal water bottle but to throw to it from afar; however with lingering water bottles should be both the distance factor of the splash water bottle and the spreading factor allowing the player to convert not only a single dirt block but an area of them turned into mud blocks.

    How would you obtain a Persistent Water Bottle?

    The same way a brewing for normal water/potion flask is added gunpowder to be turned into a splash flask, when this later one is added dragon's breath a lingering water flask can be obtained.
