Seeing as the Wild Update tries (or tried) to make the game more immersive, I feel that some changes to less talked about biomes should be addressed. There are plenty of pretty much useless biomes in the game (Mesa, Tundra, Savannah, ect) for anything other than looking cool. Maybe unique items could be found in each biome, like a special workbench in the Tundra or a new type of villager in the Mesa that can give you unique items. There areas would be desirable for their resources, but they should also have some challenges to face as well. The hot and dry environment of the savannah could give you a constant nausea effect if you haven't had water in a while, and the Tundra could have rare blizzards that can reduce your health to half a heart if you don't have anything warm in your inventory. These challenges make it tougher to survive, yes, but don't make it impossible to go into them with no experience. Also, some new foliage would make the game LOOK nicer, yes, but if it doesn't add anything useful to the game other than looks, foliage is about as useful as a dirt block. I don't know of a single recipe in the game that uses dirt at all. Mangrove Swamps, new Animals, Ambience, if it doesn't add any new use to the game, it doesn't add anything at all. Maybe the devs are already working on this, I don't know. But I would appreciate something new to come to Minecraft, because lately its just been radio silence.
