Copper Gilded Items

Could gild armour and tools using copper ingots to increase item durability as well as add cosmetic plates to the Armour which would show its age. Could be very cool to show how long a player has had a specific piece of armour for and would provide more uses for copper. Could also attach copper to arrows for increased damage, to elytra for increased durability, to boats so that trident don't instantly destroy them, etc.
