I would like to clarify one thing: A Labyrinth is NOT a Maze. A maze is a set of connected passages commonly made to be confusing and have dead ends, but a Labyrinth is an enclosed tunnel system designed so that it's impossible to get lost. Labyrinths have only one route going through them, so continuing to walk will always bring you to either the exit or the center. While the terms are used interchangeably in today's culture, it is actually incorrect to call them the same thing.

If you are going to say that the Minotaur's Maze in Greco-Roman mythology was a Labyrinth, then you are one of many people deceived by a mistranslation.

Its like you said the definition of labyrinth has been changed in todays culture, now defined as “a complicated irregular network of passages or paths in which it is difficult to find one's way; a maze.” So i think its fine keeping in the name

I am not saying that Labyrinth and Maze have come to mean the same thing, I am saying that people are being lied to about what Labyrinth means. Labyrinths are used as meditation is lots of religions, while Mazes are used as traps or defense against intruders.
