I want a light source produced when I hold torches

    Dynamic lighting is reserved exclusively for addons, mods, and customized servers. It will never come to the base game.

    Honestly to be able to carry your torch around and have it light up. Would make the game play more interesting, however it would make the gameplay a little too easy. I suggest they could make the light radius shorter than the regular torch itself when the user is holding it. This could make some cool facts for adventure maps and building, and scenerie.
