I object to the "global" chat reporting option. This feels like an overreach and a way for mojang/microsoft to take control of a community out of server operators hands.
Let us moderate our communities in the way that we want them to! If someone doesn't feel "safe" or "comfy" on a server, they don't have to play on it! ESPECIALLY if they're playing on it for free and the owner is shouldering all of the costs.

Changes are good but there just seems to be no logic to the allay duplication to me. What does an amethyst shard have to do with anything? Just a very boring and uninspired thing to add - it feels more a case of feeling forced to add a use for amethyst even if it makes no sense whatsoever. Changing the item to be an echo shard would make more sense thematically and give that item another use (and giving more reason to find an ancient city) which I think would be a small improvement, though I still don't really understand why straight up duplication of a mob was added to begin with.

since the 22w24a page links to here for feedback on it i shall give my feedback for it here

"We are looking for feedback regarding the Chat Reporting feature." my feedback is to remove it.

The thing that i hate the idea of is a reporting feature, adding that as a feature is a terrible idea in my opinion is because a server or a realm's rules can be completely different when you compare it with the rules of another server or realm, and chat is included within most rules if there are even any rules within one of these worlds or realms in the first place.
Adding a reporting feature would mean that a user's Microsoft account or possibly another means of online connection within the game could get banned no matter if the action of such user was following the server/realm rules or not, especially since it would most likely depend on rules decided by Microsoft instead.

Sure, having a chat profanity filter being added to realms beforehand is already debatable enough, but it's still understandable since it's not a 100% forced filter like on bedrock edition and isn't something to worry about when a reporting feature isn't involved as well, there should be no need for a reporting feature with a good enough chat filter, but you may think otherwise if both the Microsoft team and the Mojang team think poorly enough of the chat filter that they have designed to the point of them wanting to add a report feature as well.
