Minecraft has a lot of blocks, but what if they had more? Why do we need them? Please don't just add lists of things - these will be marked as spam and removed! Also, no furniture, guns, or vertical/"sideways"/"upright"/"standing" slabs (yes, we see you).

Shearing TNT makes it unable to explode, for safe building

With the recent addition of the shear's functionality to stunt plant growth, it would be great for builders if they could "cut the fuse" of static TNT blocks with shears, changing a blockstate that controls its ability to explode. That way it'd be purely decorative with no chance of blasting your build to pieces.
